Underrated, But It Shouldn’t Be. The Porsche (987) Spyder.
On 5 November 2009, Porsche officially announced the 987 Boxster Spyder, which was the lightest Porsche on the market at the time. Significantly less weight than the Boxster S, a lower centre of gravity and an all-new sports suspension gave the Boxster Spyder the right kind of driving dynamics clearly reflecting the unique look of the car. We watched a recent review of the Spyder and it reminded us that not all Porsche limited edition cars are out of this world in terms of price and not all limited edition Porsches need to be over-powered to be totally epic.
