This Is Pure Insanity
Previously, we featured the Porsche 9ff 911 GT3 Turbo in a previous article, but this one takes the cake. AutoTopNL recently posted a video of the car on the Autobahn and it is freaking flying.
The car is based on the 911 GT3 (997 generation). When standard it had a 3.6-liter engine that made 480 hp. 9ff did a ton of work to this engine and it’s now a 3.9-liter flat-six. But the wild tuners didn’t stop there. They put two massive Garrett GTX 3582Rr turbochargers on the engine to make it produce about 1,200 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. It weighs between 1,300 and 1,400 kg (about 2,900 pounds).
The car is called the GTurboR and it’s been properly outfitted by 9ff to be one of the most insane cars we’ve ever seen. In the video, you can see the driver hitting 340 kilometers per hour. That’s over 211 mph. The driver’s reactions are 100 percent appropriate for this machine. It’s absolute pure insanity, and he’s passing other cars and large trucks like they’re going the other way despite the fact that they’re likely doing close to 100 mph.
