This 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S (also referred to as 951) is one of the 380 special “Silver Rose” editions. It is a stock vehicle, well cared for, with over 195,000 original miles. To go from the regular 944 Turbo to the Turbo S, you got a larger turbo, ride height-adjustable Koni shocks, a hardened steel-cased gearbox, and many other factory race spec parts. The 944 Turbo S was actually faster around the track then its bigger brother the 930 Turbo, according to a period test in Automobile Magazine.
