1987 Le Mans – Kees Nierop fire in Porsche 961
The works Porsche 961, with Kees Nierop behind the wheel, spun at Indianapolis and clouted the barrier. The Dutch Canadian tried to restart, to get back to the pits, but the marhals won’t allow him to, as the car was on fire!
