Two New Porsche Type 992 911 Models Coming Soon

Porsche is swinging for the fences this year, it seems.

Not only is the Cayman GTS out, the new Cayman GT4 RS is coming, the new 911 Turbo S is out, and the Taycan is taking the EV world by storm.

So what’s left for them to do? Why, announce two more Type 992 based 911 models, of course!

From the silhouettes presented in the teaser above, we think it’s a fairly safe bet that a Type 992 Targa is on the way. The classic pillar design from the 1970’s 911T models is pretty much a dead giveaway, and it is visible in almost every angle in every shot.

It is also the only remaining “normal” model from the Type 991.x generation that needs to be revealed.

The other model that we suspect is coming is the long-awaited, proper public reveal of the new Type 992 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring. This is the one that we know one of our staff is practically salivating over, and you can be sure that if its revealed, we’ll be one of the first to post any news about it we can find!
