In 2001, racing legend Brian Redman and Bob Carlson, who served as Porsche Cars North America’s PR General Manager for a long time, conceived Rennsport to honor Porsche’s racing legacy. Their vision was to create an event where drivers and enthusiasts could come together to celebrate motorsport and pay homage to the individuals and vehicles that have played a vital role in building Porsche’s heritage. Often referred to as the world’s largest celebration of all things Porsche, Rennsport Reunion reflects a bond between car and enthusiast that no other automobile manufacturer can match.
The Rennsport Reunion 7, held at Laguna Seca from September 27 to October 1, was extra special as it coincided with Porsche’s 75th anniversary and the 60th anniversary of the iconic 911. In case you missed it, you should check out this video from Top Gear as they give us an in-depth tour of the many wonders on display at Porsche’s Rennsport Reunion 7.
