See This Manual Porsche 911 GT3 Lap Nürburgring In 6:58 Minutes

Automatic transmissions are now the standard option for cars. They are very efficient and convenient not just for everyday use but on the track as well. However, we also love cars with a manual transmission because they are just as equally as capable, especially if they are on the hands of a skilled driver like the Porsche 911.2 GT3 featured in this video.

The Porsche 991.2 GT3 is the facelifted version of the 991.1, which brought back the option for a manual transmission. It is equipped with  the same four-litre flat engine from the GT3 RS with its power increased by 25hp for a new total of 500hp. The chassis is also redesigned and now features a rear-axle steering and a lighter construction.

Although it is a bit heavier than the previous model, it still manages to reach 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach top speeds of 318km/h. What’s more interesting here is that Porsche finally decided to switch back to a 6-speed manual gearbox (7-speed PDK is standard).

As you can see in the video, you can see just how fast the Porsche 911 GT3 is around Nürburgring and managed to set a lap time of  6:58.5 minutes. This is quite an astonishing feat and kudos to the driver for being so proficient in handling the stick shift.
