Having just experienced the seventh Rennsport Reunion at Weathertech Raceway, Laguna Seca, it’s clear absolutely nothing would get in the way of the Porsche faithful gathering to share their enthusiasm for the love of Porsche. What was given was received tenfold. Laughter, excitement, and pure joy were everywhere as participants of all ages roamed the paddock, track, and vendor area, immersing themselves in the Porsche universe. Attendance over the four-day event was 91,000 people. Wow!

A proper definition

What exactly is Rennsport Reunion? Some have referred to it as a sort of love letter from Porsche to its admirers. Many would describe it as a gathering of people and machines that have defined the marque for some three-quarters of a century. Regardless of semantics, this celebration is about the passion for an automobile that defines what a sports car should be. Often referred to as the world’s largest celebration of all things Porsche, Rennsport Reunion reflects a bond between car and enthusiast that no other automobile manufacturer can match.
