The 911 GT2 RS Clubsport made its debut alongside the new 992-generation 911 at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, serving as the farewell model for the 991 series. This track-only variant, limited to a production run of 200 units, is a highly optimized racing version of the road-going 911 GT2 RS. Recognized as the most powerful GT customer sports car created by Porsche, it is designed as the ultimate turnkey racing car for participation in track days and factory-backed Clubsport events at circuits globally.
One of these exclusive models, the 76th unit out of the limited production, is now available for sale on PCARMARKET. Originally delivered to its owner at the Porsche factory in Leipzig, Germany, this GT2 RS Clubsport was later imported to Canada in December 2019. Finished in white with a removable red 917 Salzburg-style racing livery, it features factory BBS 19” one-piece forged alloy wheels with center-locking nuts and Michelin racing tires.
The interior of this track-focused machine boasts a lightweight racing cockpit equipped with a fully integrated roll cage, Recaro racing seats, six-point Schroth safety harnesses, safety net mountings, a Cosworth color display ICD with an integrated data logger, a multifunction quick-release steering wheel with shift paddles, and a fire suppression system. Additionally, an onboard 3-piston air jack system facilitates quick tire changes at the track.
The GT2 RS Clubsport is powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine as its road-going counterpart, delivering up to 700 HP. The engine features rigid mounts, a rear muffler with centered exhaust pipes, Porsche’s VarioCam Plus technology, and a race-optimized water injection system with an external filler. The rear wheels are driven through a specialized dual-clutch 7-speed PDK transmission and a mechanical differential lock optimized for motorsports.
This particular GT2 RS Clubsport, accompanied by its original $25k spare parts package, has recently undergone servicing and is now available for auction with under 4k kilometers on the odometer. It presents a rare opportunity for enthusiasts to acquire one of the finest track cars, suitable for thrilling track use or display in exclusive collections of limited-production Porsches.
