The latest GT3 RS is a road-legal race car featuring a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter engine and advanced track-focused technology from Porsche’s motorsports division. Compared to the standard GT3, the RS adopts a central front radiator layout inspired by the Le Mans-winning 911 RSR. Airflow is channeled through large front-lid vents and directed outward by roof fins, enhancing aerodynamics. Adjustable wing elements at the front, an active two-part rear wing with a drag reduction system (DRS), and fixed side blades further optimize downforce.
Shortly after the 992-generation GT3 RS debuted, Porsche introduced the 911 GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS Package, a limited-edition model that pays tribute to the iconic 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7. It features unique styling, a custom Porsche Design timepiece, and exclusive accessories such as a car cover, Python Green RS valve stem caps, keycaps, and 1:43 scale models of both the 1973 Carrera RS and the GT3 RS.
Exclusive Manufaktur elements include Python Green magnesium wheels, mirror caps, and GT3 RS graphics. The wing end plates feature a distinctive RS logo with the American flag. Inside, green deviated stitching, illuminated door sill guards, and custom key finishes complete the special edition’s distinctive look.
One of these limited-edition Porsche 911 GT3 RS is currently listed for sale on Bring a Trailer with only 92 miles on the odometer. The car was further optioned with the Weissach Package which added extensive carbon fiber components, lightweight magnesium wheels, and chassis upgrades to reduce weight. It is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six producing 518 horsepower and 342 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and an electronically locking differential.
Finished in white with Python Green graphics, this GT3 RS features lightweight glass, a carbon-fiber roof, and a swan-neck rear wing with drag-reduction functionality. The Tribute to Carrera RS package adds green wheels, mirror caps, and special badging. Additional features include LED-Matrix Design headlights, ceramic-composite brakes, a front-axle lift system, and rear-axle steering.
The interior boasts carbon-fiber bucket seats upholstered in black leather and Race-Tex, “Weissach RS” embroidery, GT Silver stitching, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation. A Chrono Package, Bose sound system, and ambient lighting complete the cabin.
