Porsche Of The Day: Modified 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Touring

This particular 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS is a genuine M472 Touring model that was originally manufactured for the German market in April 1973. It came equipped with electric windows and sport seats as optional features. The car’s first owner was a closed friend of Alois Ruf and in the 1980s, he requested RUF Automobiles to make some modifications to the vehicle. The modifications included fitting a 2.8-liter flat-six engine, making the bumpers lightweight, and changing the suspension system.

Furthermore, RUF Automobiles also added an RSR-style front bumper to the car to make space for the RSR-style center oil cooler, and a Sport (M471) rear bumper. The chassis number of this vehicle is 9113601248.
