Porsche Of The Day: 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo S

The 993 Turbo S was developed with the goal of creating the most high-performing and technologically advanced 911 variant ever to leave Stuttgart. It boasted 424 horsepower for both U.S. and global markets and featured numerous updates.

The Turbo S stood out with its vented rear fenders, yellow brake calipers, unique rear spoiler, quad-tipped exhaust, and an Aero kit front spoiler with distinctive ventilation and fog-light arrangement. Since its debut, the Turbo S has been recognized as one of the most powerful and sophisticated Porsche models ever produced.

The 993 generation of the Porsche 911 Turbo S is rare, with only 345 units made worldwide. Its high price reflects the labor-intensive production process and the premium quality of materials used, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item today.
