Akira Nakai is a former drift racer whose devotion to Porsche’s iconic sports car has led to a series of highly sought-after wide-body designs from his Japan-based company, RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF, commonly known as RWB.
Nakai’s creations are distinguished by their exaggerated wheel arches, massive wings, low stance, and aggressive appearance, making them both extraordinary and desirable. This particular model, named “Hideyoshi” after the 16th-century Japanese samurai Toyotomi Hideyoshi, began as a Carrera Coupé with a 3.6-liter flat-six engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
Originally painted in Iris Blue Metallic with a Grey and Blue leather interior, the car underwent a full cosmetic overhaul by RWB. It was stripped down to its bare shell and repainted in Mexico Blue.
The interior was updated with new black leather and Alcantara, and the car’s distinctive bodywork was adorned with a stenciled image of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, created by renowned Japanese street artist RoamCouch.
