Singer Vehicle Design, based in Los Angeles, was established in 2009 by Rob Dickinson, former lead singer of Catherine Wheel. The company specializes in high-performance customizations of 964-series Porsche 911s.
Each vehicle undergoes a meticulous restoration, where it’s stripped to its steel frame, reinforced, and fitted with lightweight carbon-fiber panels, including fenders, bumpers, and the roof for non-sunroof models. The front spoiler, rear valance, and rocker panels are crafted from black textured urethane.
One notable build, known as the “Los Angeles Commission,” is finished in Namib Yellow with a bespoke Bone White leather interior. It features a 4.0-liter flat-six engine, built by Ed Pink, paired with a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential.
Other upgrades include carbon-fiber body panels, individual throttle bodies, Öhlins adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes with red calipers, 17” Fuchs-style forged wheels, Recaro sport seats, air conditioning, and power windows.
