The Drive
What's New
The 2024 Porsche Cayenne underwent a comprehensive mid-cycle refresh, enhancing both its aesthetics and performance. Externally, it received a reworked front fascia with larger air intakes, restyled headlights, more prominent fenders, and a subtle hood bulge, giving it a more aggressive stance. The rear was also updated with new taillights and a redesigned tailgate, creating a wider appearance.
Inside, the Cayenne introduced a new 12.6-inch curved digital instrument display, alongside the PCM 6.0 infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The gear-selector lever was replaced by a smaller toggle on the dash, freeing up space on the center console for additional storage and a new climate-control panel.
Building upon these updates, the 2025 Porsche Cayenne introduces further refinements to enhance comfort and convenience. New standard features across all variants include ambient lighting, surround view with active parking support, soft-close doors, and an improved PM2.5 cabin filter for better air quality.
Notably, the Cayenne GTS model wasn't refreshed for 2024 and got its refresh for the 2025 model year. It receives a significant power boost, with its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine now delivering 493 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque—an increase of 40 hp and 30 lb-ft over its predecessor. This enhancement allows the GTS to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds, with a top track speed of 171 mph.
