Porsche Design, a subsidiary of Porsche AG, has partnered with Ananda Development in Thailand to unveil the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok. The premium luxury residential development, featuring duplex and quadplex units, will be located on Sukhumvit Soi 38. It’s one of the most prestigious addresses in the capital city of Thailand.
It is the first building of its kind in Asia and Porsche Design’s third, following similar real estate developments in Miami, USA and Stuttgart, Germany.
The Porsche Design Tower will contain 22 duplex and quadplex ‘Sky Villas’ ranging from 525 to 1,135 square metres (5,651 to 12,217 square feet). The exclusive units are expected to carry a price tag ranging from $15 million to $40 million, making it one of Thailand’s most expensive condos (per square metre). Construction will kick off next year and is set to be ready for handover by the end of 2028.
Being a Porsche Design Tower, one of the highlights is the integration of what Porsche calls ‘Passion Spaces.’ It is the ultimate garage for the residents’ collection of cars. The Passion Spaces, customizable to reflect individual tastes and preferences, can be used for various purposes, including exclusive social gatherings and business events.
Other notable elements include ‘The Loop,’ a unique spiral access ramp for vehicles in the centre of the building and the exposed ‘X-Frame’ pedestal structure inspired by the Porsche Mission R concept. The 95-meter-tall, 21-story tower will be topped by a distinctive light signature inspired by Porsche sportscars, creating a striking landmark in Bangkok’s skyline.
Interested buyers will need to formally apply to purchase units, in line with the process adopted by Porsche Design for its branded residence projects. According to Chanond Ruangkritya, President and CEO of Ananda Development, buyers don’t need to be exclusively Porsche owners. ‘Porsche has several brands, including Lamborghini and Bentley,’ he said.
