Porsche 944 Wheels
There are two major differences to watch out for with 944 wheels – are they early offset or late offset? From 1982 to 1986 cars were supplied with a hub and wheel that had an offset of 23.3mm. From 1987 onwards they were supplied with a larger offset of 52.3mm to allow for the fitment of ABS brakes.
It is possible to fit wheels with the later offset to an early car if you also fit a 30mm spacer, but it is not possible to fit early wheels to a late offset car as they will stick out too far and foul the wheel arches.
Here are pictures, codes, sizes and descriptions of the standard wheels fitted to 944′.
