1984 Porsche 928 S Technical Specifications

Originally displacing 4.5 L and featuring a single overhead camshaft design, Porsche enlarged and revised the engine in 1980 onwards. The engine was now a 4.7 L V8. It featured a direct fuel injection, which helped to get better fuel efficiency and lower the emissions. The engineers paired the V8 unit to a 5-speed manual. Specs are for the US models.
