Porsche 911 Turbo Prices & Depreciation
Porsche 911 turbo values trended up for a long time; but this trend ended. Prices remained flat for most models during the first half of this year. This goes for the 997, 991, and 992. However, prices still increased in the 996.1 and 997.2 market. Porsche 911 Turbo values increased by double digits during the last few years. Many cars increased so much that depreciation seems to be history. However, we can see now that most price trends are flattening. Most market segments like the 997, and 991 saw flat price developments. Hence, it’s not self-evident anymore that you can sell your 911 turbo with a profit. Yet, there are a few exceptions. Prices still increased by 12% in the 996 market and also the 997.2 market still saw a price increase.
I recently sold my 2003 996 TT. I bought it 11 years earlier for $40k with 48k miles and was my daily driver. There was 100k miles when I sold it for $51K. Crazy.
