Porsche 911 S/T named EVO Car of the Year

To mark the 60th anniversary of the legendary 911, Porsche introduced a unique edition model, the 911 S/T. Inspired by the original performance-driven 911 ST from 1969, this modern version blends features from the 911 GT3 RS with the styling of the 911 GT3 Touring Package, enhanced with specially crafted lightweight components.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine producing 525 horsepower, sourced from the 992 GT3 RS, the 911 S/T features a manual transmission and a lightweight clutch, delivering an engaging driving experience for purists.

Recently, the 911 S/T earned the title of 2024 Car of the Year from EVO magazine. This accolade was awarded after a rigorous test involving nine diverse competitors, ranging from agile hot hatches to 600-horsepower hybrid supercars.

The contenders included the Aston Martin Vantage, Audi RS 6 GT, BMW M4 CS, Ford Mustang Dark Horse, Mazda MX-5, McLaren Artura Spider, Morgan Plus Four, and Toyota GR Yaris. Among these, the Porsche 911 S/T stood out with its raw, exhilarating driving experience, a fitting tribute to six decades of the 911 legacy.
