Petrolheads love one thing—more. More speed, more power, more thrill. For decades, Porsche has delivered just that with the 911, refining its performance without altering its iconic design. However, stricter emissions regulations now demand a different approach to achieving “more.”

Traditionally, sports cars relied on extra fuel to cool combustion temperatures and extract power. However, with Euro 7 regulations enforcing a strict air-fuel ratio, Porsche needed innovation. The result? The new the 911 GTS Hybrid now equipped with a 3.6L flat-six engine with a 54-hp electric motor and a 1.9 kWh battery. It also features an electric turbo that eliminates lag and provides an instant power boost. This hybrid setup delivers 541 hp and 610 Nm of torque, launching the GTS from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.0 seconds.
