Pic of the Week – 2018 Le Mans Scrutineering Ebimotors Porsche 911 RSR

Looking back to the 2018 Le Mans scrutineering of Monday 11 June, the teams, spectators and assembled media enjoyed equal quantities of bright sunshine and torrential downpours. The Ebimotors team gathered with their #80 Porsche RSR for the family snap just as another downpour descended upon all and sundry (drivers: Fabio Babini, Christina Nielsen, Erik Maris). On the right of the photo, Christina Nielsen prepares to sprint for cover as the rest of the team scramble to get the car pushed away and to get themselves under some form of shelter. Although vastly experienced in the Porsche one-make series, this was the first time for Ebimotors at Le Mans, and they gave an excellent account of themselves finishing sixth in the LMGTE Am class without any mechanical mishaps. Unfortunately, Ebimotors is not racing at Le Mans this year.
