Singer Vehicle Design – Ottawa Commission
Today, we take a closer look at the Singer Vehicle Designs Ottawa Commission. This left hand drive coupe is a red Singer which is quite rare. Like other Classic Study cars, the Ottawa is built in Singer’s California location. This car was shared with the public in December 2021.

The front luggage compartment is trimmed in Cognac with Alabaster stitching.
Powering the Ottawa commission is the 4.0L, naturally-aspirated, air-cooled flat-six, presented with a ceramic plenum finish. For this machine the owner has specified a 6-speed, manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. Externally, the Blood Red carbon fiber bodywork is complemented with raised brass lettering and nickel bumperettes
The interior of the Ottawa commission is appointed in Cognac leather. 4-way adjustable touring seats are specified with leather weave and brass grommets selected for the seat centers. Seat backs are leather-wrapped for this machine.
Sills and transmission tunnel are matched to the exterior in Blood Red, while the rear compartment is carpeted. The subwoofer for the audio system lives under the left rear seat. Gauge faces are in black, except for the tachometer face which is matched to the car’s exterior in Blood Red with cream markings.
