Onboard Action: Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Races Nürburgring

The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is the best-selling race car globally, now in its seventh generation with over 5,000 units produced. The latest model retains the 4.0L naturally aspirated engine from its predecessor and the 992 GT3 road car but with increased power. It now delivers 510 hp at 8,400 rpm, up from 485 hp at 7,500 rpm, and 347 lb-ft of torque at 6,250 rpm.

This version features enhanced aerodynamics, including an adjustable ‘swan neck’ rear spoiler, which improves downforce and reduces drag compared to the previous model. New NACA-style air ducts at the front optimize airflow for better engine and brake cooling. The car’s footprint is larger, with a wider body and bigger overhangs, which boost downforce and overall dimensions. These updates collectively enhance the car’s speed, handling, and safety.

Let’s watch it in action in this onboard video from Robbert Alblas YouTube channel as it raced in Nürburgring GP track and Nordschleife!
