Montauk Commission by Singer Vehicle Design

Singer Vehicle Design – Montauk Commission

Today, we take a closer look at the Singer Vehicle Designs Montauk Commission. This left hand drive coupe is yet another green Singer. Like other Classic Study cars, the Montauk is built in Singer’s California location. This car was shared with the public in February 2022. It is a 4.0 liter rear-wheel drive coupe presented in a deep Nato Green exterior color.

The carbon fiber bodywork of the Montauk singer is a really deep Nato Green with nickel badging. Rear bumperettes are matched to the body color and raised nickel badging is selected. Carbon-ceramic brakes are specified, together with calipers finished in champagne gold with black lettering. Inside, gauges are presented in black with green markings.

The bespoke interior is trimmed in Saddle Tan with suede-mix weave and machined nickel grommets. It gets touring seats with 8-way electrical adjustment. The seat backs are leather-wrapped and the suede-mix weave is continued across the dash strip, where it’s complemented by nickel badging. Saddle Tan leather is selected for the sills and continues down the transmission tunnel and onto the lower surfaces in the rear compartment.

The Montauk commission is powered by a 4.0L, naturally-aspirated, air-cooled flat-six. For this machine, it has been specified with velocity stacks wearing a champagne gold finish. The engine drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed, manual gearbox.
