Singer Vehicle Design – Max Power Commission
Today, we take a closer look at the Singer Vehicle Designs Max Power Commission. Like other Classic Study cars, the Max Power was built in Singer’s California location. This car was shared with the public in October 2021.
The Max Power commission is a 4.0L, LHD Targa with carbon-fiber bodywork in a bright Rubystone exterior color with light ghosted side stripes and lettering. The air-cooled, naturally aspirated flat-six drives the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and the center-mounted external fuel filler is specified. The engine itself is presented with a ceramic plenum finish. Externally, the carbon fibre rear engine cover features light-ghosted lettering and nickel badging while the bumperettes are matched to the body colour in Rubystone.
The interior of the Max Power commission is appointed in Dark Navy leather by the experts at Singer’s interiors facility in California. Lightweight carbon-fiber track seats are specified for this 4.0L Targa, with leatherweave seat centres and nickel grommets. Seat backs are presented in piano black. Sills, transmission tunnel and rear compartment are also presented in Dark Navy, with leatherweave continuing across the dash strip. Rubystone is also selected for the cabin stitching, including the steering wheel, door pulls, headliner and quilted floor panels. Gauges are presented in black except for the tachometer, which is specified in Rubystone with Cream markings.
