At the age of 20, the native Stuttgarter won the Porsche Junior driver selection. Since then he has been celebrating Porsche victories around the world, including five overall wins in 24-hour races, four times on the Nürburgring and once in Spa. His first Le Mans race was in 2003, where he has enjoyed a string of GT class victories. Since the 2014 season he has competed in the top category LMP1 with Porsche for overall victory.
