In June 2017, Porsche unveiled the Type 991 GT2 RS at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, the 991 GT2 RS produces 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful production 911 ever built.
Unlike its predecessors, this model features a seven-speed PDK transmission. Porsche claims the GT2 RS can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds, with a top speed of 211 mph. Only 1,000 units were planned for production.
The Type 991 GT2 RS uses lightweight materials, including a magnesium roof, carbon-fiber bonnet, wings, and boot lid, along with a titanium exhaust system. It also features polycarbonate rear and side windows and polyurethane aprons, bringing its wet weight to 3,241 pounds.
Offered for sale on Bring A Trailer with 1k miles on the odometer, this 2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS features the factory-optioned Sport Chrono Package, $18k Weissach Package, and carbon-fiber full bucket seats finished in black leather and red Alcantara.
The car is finished in GT Silver Metallic with 20″ and 21″ center-lock alloy wheels, an aftermarket exhaust, carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow calipers, a front-axle lift system, rear-axle steering, and LED headlights with PDLS. The interior also features aluminum pedals, carbon-fiber trim, automatic climate control, PCM infotainment with navigation, and more.
