Low Mileage 2004 Porsche Carrera GT To Be Offered By Bonhams

Finished in GT Silver Metallic over Terracotta Leather and offered with 4,751 miles on the clock

A rare supercar, this 2004 Porsche Carrera GT could be the centerpiece for any serious Porsche marque collection. Now, it could be yours as it is scheduled for bidding at Bonhams’ upcoming Miami auction.

When it arrived as a production car in 2003, the Carrera GT was instantly hailed as an era-defining supercar. Almost two decades after the first Carrera GT rolled out from Leipzig, and it’s safe to say that this supercar still excels both as a collector and a driver’s car.

Raw and unapologetic, the Carrera GT is hailed as the last analog hypercar and among the finest supercars ever made. Powered by a mid-mounted 5.7L V-10 engine delivering 605 HP, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission featuring a twin-disc ceramic dry clutch.

The Porsche Carrera GT would turn out to be even more exclusive than its maker had originally intended, for when production ceased in 2007 only 1,207 had been completed, with just 644 of them specified for the US market.

This exceptional Porsche Carrera GT was originally delivered to its first owner, Bill Neukom, known for his affiliations with Microsoft and the San Francisco Giants. Finished in the timeless combination of GT Silver Metallic and Terracotta Leather, it features additional options such as air conditioning, XT Bucket Seats, and a Porsche Online Pro CD Radio.

Mr. Neukom cherished the car for approximately 14 years, during which it accumulated just 1,800 miles. Recent service records from Barrier Porsche in Bellevue and an inspection in February 2023, revealed that this US-market example has already traveled 4,751 miles since new.

With bidding set to commence on May 4th, this low-mileage Porsche Carrera GT is poised to command attention, with estimates reaching up to $1,500,000.
