Singer Vehicle Design – Jersey Commission
Today, we take a closer look at the Singer Vehicle Designs Jersey Commission.
At the heart of the Jersey Commission is the 4.0L, naturally-aspirated, air-cooled flat-six. For this car, the owner has specified a 6-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The engine itself is presented with a ceramic platinum finish. Externally, the carbon fiber rear engine cover features lettering in Singer Racing Orange, with brass Singer badging. The carbon fiber bodywork is presented in Stone Grey with light ghosted stripes and Singer Racing Orange lettering.
Wheels are specified with open lugnuts and brake calipers are presented in Singer Racing Red with white lettering. The side-mounted, external oil filler is selected, together with carbon fibre bodywork in Stone Grey. Rear decklid lettering is presented in Singer Racing Orange, paired with brass badging.
The interior of the Jersey commission is appointed in Cognac leather by the experts at Singer’s interiors facility in California. Lightweight carbon-fiber track seats are specified for this 4.0L coupe, with leather-weave centers brass grommets and piano black seat backs. Floor panels, sills, transmission tunnel and rear compartment surfaces are trimmed in carpet. For the rear compartment, folding rear seat backs are specified. The tachometer is specified in Singer Racing Orange with a cream markings. The dash features a leather-weave insert in Cognac with Singer badging in brass
