He already underlined his strong passion for Porsche in his campaign to win the Porsche Carrera Cup France. Twice he had to settle for runner-up and once he finished third, before finally taking home the coveted title in 2010. Even then, his reputation as one of the world’s fastest GT pilots was evident. He demonstrated his prowess in top-class championships such as the WEC, and the FIA GT1 World Championship, where he finished the 2012 season in second place. In 2014, he returned to his roots as a Porsche works driver. “To drive for Porsche,” he says, “is what I’ve always wanted.” In his debut season he celebrated victories at the WEC rounds in Silverstone and Shanghai at the wheel of the 911 RSR. In the FIA World Endurance Cup for GT drivers, he finished the year in second place.
