The first iteration of the Porsche Cayman GT4 made its debut in 2015, drawing a conclusion to the third generation of Boxster/Cayman (981). Since that time, the GT4 has become a cult hero amongst purists with its absence of frills (not to be misheard as ‘thrills’), relative affordability and undisputable demi-god-status as one of the ultimate driver’s car.
Live now in PCarMarket is a 2021 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 finished in Gentian Blue Metallic over a black leather and Race-Tex interior with silver stitching and has only 4,985 miles shown on its odometer. This is a Porsche example that many fans are now after and one you can’t afford to miss!
The car featured here comes with Gentian Blue Metallic paintwork and like the rest of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 produced in 2021 it also comes with a massive, purpose-built rear spoiler which make look more track-ready than the Boxster 718 Spyder. Aside from that, it also comes with a GT4-specific front fascia, rear diffuser, side air intake scoops, and 20” GT4 wheels finished in Platinum Satin and mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Moving inside, the GT-ness remains apparent when it comes to the interior, which aren’t shy about boasting no shortage of motorsport heritage and driver-focused elements. A 360mm GT Sport steering wheel is standard fare, as is a shorter shift knob compared to other 718 models, as well as Sport Seats Plus with raised side bolsters. Like the other GT cars, Alcantara continues to feature heavily throughout the interior, finding itself adorning the steering wheel rim, shift knob and dashboard. Additional features include heated seats, 2-zone automatic climate control, the Light Design Package, BOSE Surround Sound System, Apple CarPlay, Navigation with Porsche Connect, and Chrono Package with preparation for a lap trigger.
This 2021 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine sends up to 414 HP to the rear wheels through a 7-speed PDK transmission and a Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) mechanical limited-slip differential. This setup allows the GT4 to sprint from 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 189 mph.
