In a new video, carwow on YouTube pitted two seemingly disparate contenders against each other: the iconic Porsche 911 Turbo S and a modified Skoda Superb.
The Porsche 911 Turbo S comes from the 996-generation and boasts a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine producing 450 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. Equipped with all-wheel drive and a 5-speed automatic gearbox, it weighs 1,630 kg.
On the other hand, the Skoda Superb is no ordinary family car. Tuned by RE Performance, it now features a Garrett turbocharger, a performance intercooler, and racing spark plugs. The result? A whopping 477 horsepower and 661 Nm of torque from its 2-liter turbocharged engine. It also has all-wheel drive and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, weighing just over 1,600 kg.
The Skoda has the slight edge when it comes to power but it is also a bit heavier. How do you think will it perform against the Porsche? Watch the video to find out!
