In 2023, Porsche introduced a special package for the 992 GT3 RS, known as the Tribute to Carrera RS Package, exclusively available for the US market. This special edition celebrates the 50th anniversary of the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7. The standout feature of this package is its unique paint scheme, offered only in white with striking Python Green accents.
Python Green details extend to the valve stem caps, keys, and the rear wing, which also features the American flag and RS logo in the same vivid hue. Inside, the cabin is enhanced with Python Green contrast stitching and updated treadplates displaying the package name.
Each 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS with the Tribute to Carrera RS Package includes a set of exclusive accessories. These consist of a bespoke Porsche Design watch, a custom car cover, Python Green valve stem and key caps, personalized license plate frames, and a pair of 1:43 scale model cars.
Power still comes from a 4.0-liter flat-six engine, generating 518 horsepower and 342 lb-ft of torque. This power is delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and an electronically locking differential.
This limited-edition GT3 RS “Tribute to Carrera RS” is among the rarest modern Porsches available. For enthusiasts interested in owning one, a low mileage example with just 28 miles is currently up for auction on Bring A Trailer.
