A bespoke 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe, restored and reimagined by Singer Vehicle Design, is now up for sale, offering collectors a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most meticulously built 964-based cars available.
Originally delivered as a standard 964-generation Carrera 2, this coupe underwent a full transformation by California-based Singer between 2015 and 2016. Known as the “Fiona Commission,” the car was built to exacting specifications for a client in the United Arab Emirates before returning to the U.S. in 2019. Now located in New York and offered by a selling dealer, it shows just 3,200 miles since the Singer build.
Finished in a one-off Midnight Blue non-metallic paint, the Porsche features extensive carbon-fiber bodywork, including its roof, hood, fenders, and decklid. The car rides on 17-inch Fuchs-style forged aluminum wheels with nickel-plated spokes and Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Braking is handled by cross-drilled Brembo rotors sourced from the Porsche 993 Turbo and color-matched Midnight Blue calipers.
The heart of this machine is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six, hand-built by Ed Pink Racing Engines. Rated at 390 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque, the engine includes individual throttle bodies topped with velocity stacks. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
Inside, the cabin blends motorsport minimalism with bespoke craftsmanship. Cognac leather carbon-fiber bucket seats feature woven inserts and brass grommets, while Espresso leather wraps the dashboard and upper door panels. Additional appointments include a laminated-wood shift knob, a leather-trimmed roll bar, air conditioning, and an upgraded audio system with Becker head unit and Parrot infotainment.
Singer Vehicle Design, founded by musician-turned-automotive designer Rob Dickinson, has become synonymous with Porsche 911 restomods. Each vehicle is reassembled from the ground up with an obsessive focus on craftsmanship and period-correct design enhancements.
This example’s low mileage, unique color scheme, and meticulous build pedigree make it an exceptionally desirable offering in the increasingly competitive world of high-end Porsche collectibles. See it here.
