Limited to 1,948 units, the 991-generation 911 Speedster pays homage to the year Dr. Porsche built his first two-seat roadster. Inspired by prior Speedsters from the 356, G-Series, 964, and 997 generations, it combined breathtaking design with outstanding performance.
Essentially a roofless 911 GT3, the Speedster utilized a cabriolet body shell and incorporated carbon fiber for the trunk lid, fenders, doors, engine cover, and interior trim. Its shortened, raked windshield enhanced the aggressive aesthetic, while the fabric top stowed neatly beneath the double-humped tonneau.
Powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six engine delivering 502 bhp and 346 lb.-ft of torque, it accelerated from 0–60mph in 3.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 193mph. Exclusively paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, this analog masterpiece inspired Porsche to include a manual option for the 992 GT3.
This one-owner 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster, offered for sale on Bring A Trailer, has only 151 miles since new and is outfitted with the Heritage Design package. Finished in Silver Metallic with a white nose and customizable racing numbers, it also features Porsche script along the lower sills, 20″ GT3 center-lock alloy wheels, a partially white front section, white motorsport graphics, and gold-colored Speedster badging.
