This 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo was reportedly converted to BTR Lightweight specifications when new. RUF stripped the car to reduce weight, replacing parts with their own lightweight components. The car’s exterior was modified with RUF-designed front and rear valances for better aerodynamics and cooling.
The car is finished in Grand Prix White with a black cloth interior and is powered by a RUF-tuned 3.4-liter flat-six engine producing 374 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a RUF five-speed manual transmission.
Other features include RUF valances, modified Bilstein suspension, cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes, staggered-width Fuchs-style alloy wheels, a quad-outlet exhaust system, a manual boost controller, an oil cooler, a sunroof, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt cassette player.
