This 2020 Porsche 935 is a rare gem, being one of just 77 units produced for Porsche’s elite clientele. Derived from the Porsche 911 GT2 RS (991.2), this model boasts only 37 miles (60 km) on the odometer and is now offered for sale on SBX Cars.
Inspired by the legendary 935 Group 5 racer, this car sports a matte carbon exterior over a black interior. It is powered by a 3.8-liter, water-cooled, twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine delivering 700 hp, paired with a seven-speed PDK gearbox for rapid shifts.
Originally specified in matte black, the 935 includes lightweight hybrid aluminum steel chassis, CFRP bodywork, and a large CFRP rear wing. Safety features are extensive, including a fully integrated roll cage, 115-liter fuel cell, and three on-board air jacks. The car also boasts advanced aerodynamics and cooling systems, with LED headlights and rear lights, FIA rain light, and electronically-adjustable mirrors.
Unveiled at the 2018 Rennsport Reunion VI, the 935 is a track-only car celebrated for its performance and design freedom, unhindered by homologation rules. It accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 211 mph (340 km/h).
This Porsche 935 mirrors its historical predecessor, the 935/78 ‘Moby Dick,’ with similar body modifications and tribute details, including aerodynamic enhancements and motorsport-optimized features.
