The 2019 model year marked the end of seventh-generation 911 production. To commemorate this, Porsche introduced the GT2 RS Clubsport as the 991’s grand finale. Unveiled at the LA Auto Show in 2018, alongside the new 992-generation 911, the GT2 RS Clubsport became Porsche’s most powerful GT customer sports car ever.
This limited-edition, track-only version of the 911 GT2 RS was produced in just 200 units, quickly becoming a prized possession for enthusiasts and a staple at track days and factory-backed Clubsport events globally.
The GT2 RS Clubsport retains the 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged flat-six engine from the 911 GT2 RS, delivering an astounding 700 brake horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. The powertrain, paired with a PDK transmission and controlled via paddle shifters, drives the rear axle. Unique to this model, Porsche engineers introduced a water spray system to cool the incoming air to the engine, enhancing performance.
Key features of this track-only car include an advanced exhaust system for improved gas flow and forged suspension links with three-way adjustable dampers for customizable handling. Weighing 75 kilograms less than the GT2 RS, the Clubsport achieves this through extensive use of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic in the roof, bonnet, front bumper, doors, tail, and engine cover.
The example you see here, now offered for sale on Bring A Trailer with just 2,800 miles, is number 99 out of 200 total units produced. This white beauty boasts an exposed carbon fiber roof with contrasting red accents, aggressive carbon front wheel arches, and a stripped interior built for safety with an integrated roll cage.
Beyond its stellar performance, this Clubsport boasts additional equipment for the serious racer: a hood-mounted filler for the massive 30-gallon fuel cell, an electrical cutoff switch, a port for the intercooler’s water tank, and tow straps for both front and rear.
Whether you’re a racing enthusiast looking to dominate the track or a collector seeking an automotive masterpiece, the 2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport is one of the finest track cars you can’t afford to miss!
