Rob Dickinson, founder of Singer Vehicle Design, has transformed his childhood obsession with Porsche 911s into a company crafting automotive masterpieces. Singer takes classic air-cooled 911s and reimagines them, combining bespoke parts, top-tier mechanics, and luxurious finishes.
One of their creations, the ‘San Diego Commission,’ is up for grabs on Bring A Trailer. This car boasts a powerful 3.8-liter flat-six engine churning out 360 horsepower and paired with a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. Finished in a beautiful blue with red accents, it rolls on Fuchs-style wheels and features top-of-the-line Brembo brakes and Ohlins suspension.
Performance is enhanced with Singer’s larger Brembo brakes and Ohlins adjustable suspension. Luxurious touches abound, from the external fuel filler cap to the retractable rear spoiler. Bi-xenon headlights, polycarbonate lenses, and nickel-plated brightwork add a touch of modern sophistication.
Inside, the cabin is a haven of red leather, accented with woven leather details and brass accents. Luxurious touches abound, from Recaro sport seats to a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel. Modern conveniences like air conditioning and an iPod-compatible Becker radio ensure a comfortable driving experience.
With 10,000 miles on the clock, this Singer 911 provides a rare opportunity for enthusiasts to own a piece of automotive artistry. Its well-thought design and exceptional craftsmanship make it a true collector’s item.
