AutoTopNL, despite being based in the Netherlands (hence the NL), likes to take cars to the German autobahn a lot. They also cover more than just cruising along at top speed. Now, they’ve got another video featuring a modified Porsche 992 Carrera S pushing 650 horsepower.
For comparison, a stock 992 Carrera S gets a twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six with 443 bhp and 390 ft lbs of torque. With 443 horsepower and coupled to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic, the new Carrera S goes from zero to 60 in 3.5 seconds, four-tenths quicker than the 991.2 version. The quarter mile takes just 11.9 seconds and top speed is 190 mph.
The performance numbers for this 911 are impressive, sure, but they do little to illustrate just how truly rapid the car is in the real world as show in this video where it managed to hit 303 km/h (188 mph). But we believe it could’ve gotten more speed, if there were more space.
