This 1979 Porsche was originally a 930 Turbo coupe before it was transformed and modified into a 911 RSR Tribute by Patrick Motorsports in Phoenix, Arizona. The process include stripping the car to bare metal, repainting the car in orange, installation of an IROC RSR-style front bumper cover and a fiberglass whale tail rear spoiler, interior re-trimming, and fitting a normally-aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle.
Inside, two Cobra Stuttgart seats, featuring black leather with orange houndstooth cloth centers, are accompanied by details such as a black dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The interior also boasts a body-color roll bar, Schroth harnesses, orange door-pull straps, a glove box, and a Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speaker.
Notable features include Bilstein shock absorbers, 15″ Fuchs-style wheels, a roll bar, black trim, dual side mirrors, a “3.8” engine cover badge, Schroth harnesses, a MOMO steering wheel, and IROC-style decals.
