After what felt like an eternity for Porsche enthusiasts, the seventh “family affair” of monumental proportions kicked off on the Monterey Peninsula, California on September 28th. Rennsport Reunion 7 includes a spectacular array of everything from vintage 356s to the new Mission X all-electric Hypercar which is on display for everyone to enjoy. Coinciding with Porsche’s 75th anniversary, this celebration is one of epic proportions with something for toddlers all the way up to gray-haired “Porsches for life” fans. Front and center at RR7 is the Tag Heuer heritage tent. Milestone Porsches are on display, accompanied by storyboards and vintage timepieces. Welcoming fans at the display’s entrance is a “Le Mans” movie-themed display with a real 917 in Gulf livery. Over at the pit buildings are a dizzying array of Porsches placed amongst haybales, recalling a racing era where safety was an afterthought. And this is just a taste of what is available to see.
