Porsche and Brumos Racing have once again delved into their shared history to craft an exceptional Porsche 911 Carrera GTS known as the B59 Edition. This extraordinary vehicle represents one of the final five production-997 Porsches meticulously prepared by Porsche to honor the illustrious racing career of Hurley Haywood, the longstanding president of Brumos Racing. Haywood achieved renown for his remarkable fifth and last Daytona 24 Hours victory in 1991.
The B59 Edition boasts a distinctive set of special features, prominently featuring the iconic Brumos Racing livery with Carrera white paint adorned by blue and red striping. Complementing the car’s sporting appearance are black racing mirrors and 19-inch Sport Classic Fuchs-style wheels. Inside, the black full-leather interior is elegantly trimmed with Alcantara, and eye-catching blue and red dual-stripe stitching accents adorn the steering wheel rim, shifter boot, and brake handle.
The Carrera white theme extends to the console and the rear portions of the specially equipped heated memory Adaptive Sport Seats, which also incorporate Guards Red seat belts. The interior boasts the Sports Chrono Package Plus, a Bose sound system, navigation, XM satellite radio receiver, and unique stainless-steel door entry guards engraved with Haywood’s signature.
As for power, the B59 Edition packs a punch with a robust 3.8-liter engine producing 408 HP, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. It also features a Sports Suspension with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), a limited-slip rear differential, and Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes.
