In January 2022, the current owner of this 1993 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Coupe, originally delivered new in Japan, sent it to Nakai San at RWB’s headquarters in Kashiwa for a signature widebody conversion. The car was then refinished in the uncommon color of Maritime Blue and paired with a customized black leather interior. The build also included adjustable coilovers, an APR exhaust, and Carrera RS engine mounts.
This one-of-a-kind RWB build boasts custom hand-fitted bodywork, including modified bumpers, rocker panels, bolt-on fenders, a GT2-style rear wing, a front splitter, and dive planes. It was finished with a set of custom RWB-spec Work S1 wheels, dressed in Yokohama Advan Neova tires. The interior features custom RS-style Recaro Pole Position bucket seats, a short shifter, MOMO Mod 07 three-spoke steering wheel, stainless steel door sills, and a Continental Bluetooth stereo. The engine is an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six, upgraded with RS engine mounts, a MAF conversion, and APR exhaust, and disassembled for a comprehensive service by Porsche Centre London of Ontario in January 2023.
The car has been driven for approximately 3k kilometers since completion, and major service has been performed, including new tires, oil/fluids/filters, spark plugs, accessory/drive belts, valve cover gaskets, timing cover gaskets, various other gaskets/seals, new Carrera RS motor mounts, AC system service with new AC compressor and R134 fluid, fully adjustable Silver’s NEOMAX coilover suspension, professional canyon alignment at Johnson’s in Torrance CA, new control arm bushings, full underside dry ice cleaning, and paint protection film installed on high-impact areas.
The seller, based in California, is offering this authentic, one-of-a-kind RWB build for auction and will provide a clean title and an extensive collection of documentation and build records.
