Singer Vehicle Design – Palm Beach Commission

Today, we take a closer look at the Singer Vehicle Designs Palm Beach Commission. This left hand drive coupe has a stunning exterior and interior combination that we absolutely love. It is a Classic Study car, which means it was restored in Singer’s California center of excellence. This car was shared with the public in August 2022.

This 4.0L Palm Beach Commissio is a coupe painted in gorgeous Bahama Yellow with ghosted stripes. It has side lettering and interior finished in contrasting Black which looks really cool. The fuel filler is centrally mounted the oil filler is side-mounted. Wheels in black feature open lug nuts, framing brake calipers in Bahama Yellow with back lettering. At the rear of the car a black ceramic exhaust system is specified. Rear decklid badging is presented in raised nickel, while the rear bumperettes are matched to the car’s body color.

Part of the inspiration behind the name Singer was the sound of a naturally aspirated, air-cooled flat-six. Powering the Palm Beach commission is a 4.0L version of this iconic engine. For this car it has been specified with a ceramic plenum finish and the engine bay is completed with diamond-quilted leather in black, matching the car’s interior. Power is transmitted to the ground through a 6-speed, manual, rear-wheel-drive transmission.

On the inside, this commission gets comfy Touring seats in Black with seat centers featuring a suede-mix weave, complemented by brass grommets and seats backs wrapped in leather. Black leather is continued along the transmission tunnel and into the rear compartment, while the sills are carpeted. Contrast stitching in Bahama Yellow is selected. In the rear compartment, the seats backs are deleted and the left seat base incorporates an upgraded sub-woofer.

Early 911 gauges are specified, featuring green markings against a black background. Touring seats are fitted, presented in black with suede-mix weave seat centers and brass grommets. Contrast stitching in Yellow can be seen on the steering wheel and door pulls. The front luggage compartment is specified with a center-mounted fuel filler and quilted black leather.
