Singer Vehicle Design – Milano Commission
Today, we take a closer look at the Singer Vehicle Designs Milano Commission. First of all, this car is a Dynamics & Lightweighting Study which means it is restored by the team based at Singer’s UK center of operations. This is probably my favorite DLS car so far.
Unfortunately, we could only find two photos of the Milano Commission Singer. We know it is a Dynamics & Lightweighting Study, which means it is powered by a 4.0L, 4-valves per cylinder, naturally aspirated, air-cooled flat-six that was co-developed between Singer and Williams Advanced Engineering. The engine breathes through ram-air intakes, located in the rear side window position. Titanium valves are used, together with upper and lower injectors, to enhance performance.
This LHD car is presented in Singer Racing Blue, with light ghosted side stripes and lettering in contrasting Citrus Orange. The interior of this Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer is trimmed in Citrus Orange with bespoke suede and leather woven seat centers.
