2019 Porsche 991.2 Speedster Auction
I could spend all day looking at cars being auctioned off at PCarMarket. Almost every day I find a special Porsche that I really want to buy. Moving forward I am going to share these cars with you guys since lots of our readers ask whether we ever find cool cars for sale. Today I am sharing a spectacular 991.2 Speedster that is currently being auctions (full listing here).
Offering a sendoff to the 991 generation, the 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster was produced in a limited series of 1,948 examples worldwide based on the high-performance GT3. Make no mistake that the 991.2 Speedster was an absolutely fitting conclusion to the 991-generation. The Porsche 911 Speedster is an ingenious amalgamation of the latest technologies on offer, and the more simple ingredients that have been a principle of driving enjoyment since the invention of automobiles. A 502-horsepower engine, without turbochargers. A modern transmission, with just one clutch. A state-of-the-art suspension and chassis, with an unsullied purity. The list goes on. Perhaps the only drawback is that the Speedster’s rarity and price. We rarely see them for sale so if you’re in the market this one is pretty special.
This particular Speedster, #765, comes finished in Jet Black Metallic over a Black leather interior with red stitching, optional Guards Red seatbelts, extended leather trim, painted air vents, a crested center console lid, and illuminated door sills in carbon fiber. It was acquired as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche Warrington in November of 2021 and is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Pennsylvania showing approximately 3k miles on the odometer.
This Speedster comes finished in Jet Black Metallic with optional window triangle trim in carbon fiber, SportDesign exterior mirrors in carbon fiber, painted headlight cleaner covers, painted side skirts, and LED headlights in Black. The Speedster features GT3-derived bodywork with a unique steeply raked windshield and double streamliners over the rear section. The factory 20” GT3 center-lock wheels come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and the car has been protected by partial paint protection film as well as a full ceramic coating.
