The Porsche 911 family is expecting a new member. In March 2017, five new variants will join the range: the rear-wheel drive 911 Carrera GTS; the 911 Carrera 4 GTS with all-wheel drive available in both Coupé and Cabriolet; and the 911 Targa 4 GTS with all-wheel drive.
Newly-developed turbochargers for the 3-litre flat six-cylinder boxer engine increase power to 450hp (331kW). The engine delivers 30hp (22kW) more than the 911 Carrera S and 20hp (15kW) more than the corresponding prior GTS model with a naturally aspirated engine. All variants are available with either a manual seven-speed gearbox, or the optional Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) double-clutch transmission.
