On the 911 spectrum, this would encompass any of the 991 (and newer) GT3, GT3 RS and GT2 RS models. For the Cayman/Boxster lineup, this would include all 981 and 982 GT4 and GT4 RS variants.
Our focus shifts to these cars in the context of what we’re discussing in this article. While older generation models sharing the same monikers delivered to the expected Porsche standards for their day, it’s this newer crop which has truly proliferated the motorsport connection via production cars.
